The $44.25 million sale of the Windsor Court Hotel by London-based Orient-Express Hotels to The Berger Company in October was recognized as the Deal of the Year at the 2010 Americas Lodging Investment Summit. The deal, which saw the property return to local ownership for the first time in 19 years, received highest honors in the Single Asset Transaction category.
