Keating Magee Marketing Communications won multiple awards – including a highly coveted Lantern Judge’s Award – at the 2010 Lantern Awards. The awards ceremony, sponsored by the Southern Public Relations Federation (SPRF), was held September 28, 2010 at the Hilton Capitol Center in Baton Rouge and was the closing event for the SPRF 2010 Evolution Conference.

Keating Magee took home an Award of Excellence and the Judge’s Award for their work on Windsor Court’s 140 New Orleans Characters campaign. They also received an Award of Excellence for Windsor Court’s Butterfly Tea as well as an Award of Merit for their microsite (www.letsbetotallyclear.org) created on behalf of the Louisiana Public Health Institute’s Tobacco-Free Living program.

The Lanterns Awards are given out annually to SPRF member organizations honoring public relations work performed from June to May. SPRF is regional public relations network composed of members in PRAL (Public Relations Association of Louisiana), PRAM (Public Relations of Mississippi), PRCA (Public Relations Council of Alabama), and ECPRO (Emerald Coast Public Relations Organization).
