The United Health Foundation recently debuted “Community Health Heroes,” a public access series that will spotlight health issues and topics relevant to the New Orleans community. Dr. Penny Walker, Senior Medical Director for the UnitedHealthcare Southeast Region, will host the show and interview featured guests from local community organizations that provide health and wellness resources and information.

The show’s pilot episode features guests from the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association and a recent UnitedHealthcare Heroes grant recipient.

The show airs Wednesdays at 8:30am and 8:30pm on Channel 76 and Saturdays at 3:30am and 3:30pm on Channel 99 in the Metro New Orleans market.
