bears12.29.09Bayer Properties, developers of the new Summit Fremaux Lifestyle Center in Slidell, donated one hunderd Teddy Bears to the Northshore area Toys for Tots this holiday season. Distribution took place on Wednesday, December 16 at 6p.m. at the Northshore Harbor Center in Slidell.

“Toys for Tots relies solely on donations provided by the community and businesses,” said Gunnery Sergeant Carlos Walker, local organizer of this year’s Toys for Tots distribution event. “It is through the generosity of companies such as Bayer Properties that we are able to continue serving the needs of the children throughout the community.”

Members of the Keating Magee team were on hand during the event to help distribute the bears and other toys to over 1,500 kids.
