This is the second consecutive year that Keating Magee has made the Inc. 5,000 list.

Quality Start is a voluntary program for licensed child care centers, designed to recognize, support and increase the quality of child care throughout Louisiana. Participating centers can earn up to five stars. Quality Start also offers training and incentives to child care providers to help increase their rating. Important new quarterly bonuses and tax credits are also available to parents who choose a Quality Start center. By joining Quality Start, centers will show parents in their communities their commitment to providing the highest quality child care.

The award recognized the firm’s work in developing the “Let’s Be Totally Clear” Microsite for The Louisiana Campaign for Tobacco-Free Living. Earlier this year, the microsite was awarded “Best In Show” and a Gold Award at the Advertising Club of New Orleans’ Annual ADDY Awards Competition.

Designed to recognize and honor statewide creative excellence in business communications, the Bronze Quill Awards are presented annually by IABC-New Orleans. Bronze Quill nominations are open to both IABC members and non-members, and entries are judged by IABC-member panels from other chapters throughout the United States. Scoring is based on a seven-point scale, and awards are presented at two levels: awards of excellence and awards of merit.

“As a locally-owned hotel, the Windsor Court is now more a part of New Orleans than ever before. We couldn’t be the Windsor Court if we weren’t in New Orleans, and New Orleans wouldn’t be itself without all of the wonderful inidividuals that give the city color,” explains General Manager David Teich.

Families enjoyed afternoon tea at Le Salon tea room at the Windsor Court while members of the Audubon Insectarium staff brought a variety of butterflies in beautiful displays to show and discuss with guests. There was a special children’s menu, unique butterfly-themed treats & picture mementos to remember the special day. The event proved to be a popular draw as the two seatings for the afternoon were sold out.

“Keating Magee facilitated a fantastic partnership between the Windsor Court and Audubon Nature Institute, which resulted in the magical and highly successful Butterfly Tea,” said Windsor Court General Manager David Teich.

Additionally, three Keating Magee team members received Ad Person of the Year Awards at the 2010 ADDY Awards ceremony held on Saturday, February 27 at the Louisiana Superdome. Communications Director Ann Wills was named Marketing/Communications Director of the Year; Communications Manager Sarah Spain was named Production Coordinator of the Year; and Senior Interactive Strategist Nick Sagona was named Creative/Technical Person of the Year. The Ad Person of the Year Awards are given out annually at the local ADDY Awards ceremony to recognize the hard work and talent of individuals within the local advertising community.

Saturday evening’s awards gala was sponsored by the Advertising Club of New Orleans, a member of the American Advertising Federation. The ADDY Awards is the largest and most representative creative competition recognizing creative excellence and the very best advertising worldwide. The Ad Club of New Orleans is celebrating its 100th Anniversary this year, making it one of the oldest active professional groups of any kind in New Orleans.

Honorees are selected based on their cuisine, professional and community contributions. No other establishment was honored more than once. All honorees will be recognized at a cocktail reception on April 20, at the New Orleans Museum of Art.
